At Hanan’s preschool, children are valued and appreciated as unique individuals. We proudly offer a distinct program that teaches Islamic values along with English and Arabic language skills via a variety of approaches through which our children play and learn in a safe and caring environment.

Our goal is to provide quality care in a developmentally appropriate environment and to deliver best practices that promote each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, which will include learning through play, experimenting and exploring in a safe and healthy atmosphere to set the foundation for children to be lifelong learners.

Philosophy:

At Hanan’s Islamic preschool we believe that each child is unique and special. As early childhood educators, it is our job to facilitate and nurture their diverse needs, diverse abilities, uniqueness, and individuality in a safe and caring environment. Children deserve quality care which will enhance their healthy growth and stimulate them intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Programs:

We offer various programs including 2, 3 and 5 days program, Quran Studies, Arabic/English alphabet, math and science, arts, crafts, educational and fun activities for ages 3-6.

Schedule

• Mornings 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
• Afternoons: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Before & After School Care:

*Licensed
*Subsidized
*Qualified and experienced teachers

-5 days a week (It is up to the parents how many days)
-6:30-8:30 am
-3:00-6:00 pm
-6:30 am-6:00 pm (PD Days/holidays/summer months)
-Ages: 6-12 years old
-Quran & Is. Studies /Arabic
-Help with home work
-Crafts/Arts & Plenty of fun science activities
-Field trips/mini excursions are planned for PD Days and holidays/summer months

-Pick up and drop off to and from the Calgary Islamic School is available
