Welcome to Oakridge Community Before and After School Care Program
The Before and After School Care Program, and Holiday Adventures Program are designed to offer exciting and fun-filled recreation programs for the school-age child in a family-home-like environment.
Our primary focus is to provide the children and their parents with a non-discriminatory, safe, stable, yet flexible program that is accessible to everyone.
The staff are positive role models and encourage children to actively participate in both staff-planned and child-directed activities. Staff also assist children in developing their skills in communication, cooperation, patience, tolerance, and life skills.
Activities for participants include, indoor and outdoor activities, large and small-scale games, arts and crafts, free play situations, music programs, dramatic and imaginative play and special events.
Balancing free-play situations and group structure, children are provided with a wide range of experiences and opportunities to develop their leadership skills, independence, and self-esteem, with an emphasis on play and fun.
Drop-In Care
Is available only on school holidays.
Holiday Adventures Program (July & August)
Time: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
The holiday adventures program is licensed by the government of Alberta children and Youth Services, as well as accredited by AELCS.

We offer an exciting summer filled with a vreity of activities that provide children with a wide range of experiences and opporunities. With an emphasis on play and fun, children can develop their leadership skills, self esteem, and independence in a safe and supportive environment.
Weeks 1 and 6 – $200.00/week/child
Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 – $250.00/week/child
Package deal – 4 weeks for $900.00/child
