Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk
What: Watch the king penguins waddle through the zoo for a daily enrichment walk.
When: 11:00am (Monday – Sunday) with weather permitting

Joso’s $5 Family Monday’s
What: Donate a non-perishable item and you and your kiddos (up to 3 children) can let loose in their indoor playground.

What: For only $3 you can swim from 9-10 PM on select days at various leisure centres.

What: The Olympic Oval in partnership with Servus Credit Union is brightening your evening by giving you access to skate for only $2. This is a great way to get your family active!

YYC Hot Chocolate Fest
What: The month of February doesn’t just mean Valentine’s Day! Local participating cafes, restaurants and chocolatiers compete for the title YYC’s Best Hot Chocolate, Best Spirit Chocolate and Cup That Runneth Over Award. The public is invited to test out participating location’s hot chocolate and vote online for their favourites. Partial proceeds from each drink sold go to Calgary Meals on Wheels!

Active Toddlers at Genesis Centre

The Beach YYC
What: It’s winter and we are inviting you to have fun at the beach! Bring your kids (5 years and under) to Calgary’s indoor sandy beach and watch your child explore, dig and have fun. All beach toys are supplied.

Family Fridays at the TELUS Spark – Valentine’s Day Edition
What: TELUS Spark is offering $5 admission rates for all children under 17 years of age to enjoy with the whole family. Get dinner, explore the science centre and enjoy spending family time together. For Valentine’s Day, you can create a special felt heart in the Maker’s Workshop alongside watching the Princess Bride play in the dome.
