The minimum amount of information required to search for child care on CareFind is your full name, valid email address, username and password. This allows for a seamless experience interacting with your child care providers.

How much does your service cost?

CareFind is a free service for parents and guardians.

What is your screening process for child care providers?

CareFind works with accredited, licensed and regulated child care centers, preschools, out of school care and approved dayhomes providers.

How do I choose a child care provider? What questions do I ask?

We strongly encourage parents and guardians to do your own research, ask questions, obtain information, and schedule a tour prior to making a decision. CareFind helps you find child care, but does not endorse any child care providers. Calgary Zoo Penguin Walk

What: Watch the king penguins waddle through the zoo for a daily enrichment walk.

When: 11:00am (Monday – Sunday) with weather permitting

Where: The Calgary Zoo (outside Penguin Plunge), 210 St. George’s Drive NE, Calgary

Joso’s $5 Family Monday’s

What: Donate a non-perishable item and you and your kiddos (up to 3 children) can let loose in their indoor playground.

When: Monday, February 24 from 9 AM – 4 PM (Monday recurring event)

Where: Joso’s Play and Learn Centre, Unit 505, 722-85 Street SW, Calgary

Admission: $5.00 plus a non-perishable food item.

Last Call $3 Swim

What: For only $3 you can swim from 9-10 PM on select days at various leisure centres.

When: Southland Leisure Centre (Monday and Wednesday at 9-10 PM) and Village Square Leisure Centre (Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays at 9-10 PM).

Servus Monday Night Toonie Skate

What: The Olympic Oval in partnership with Servus Credit Union is brightening your evening by giving you access to skate for only $2. This is a great way to get your family active!

YYC Hot Chocolate Fest

What: The month of February doesn’t just mean Valentine’s Day! Local participating cafes, restaurants and chocolatiers compete for the title YYC’s Best Hot Chocolate, Best Spirit Chocolate and Cup That Runneth Over Award. The public is invited to test out participating location’s hot chocolate and vote online for their favourites. Partial proceeds from each drink sold go to Calgary Meals on Wheels!

National Pancake Day at IHOP

What: Who doesn’t love FREE pancakes? In honour of National Pancake Day, IHOP is celebrating by serving their original buttermilk pancakes to all of their customers!
