Bridlewood Children’s Centre is licensed for 50 children, ages from 12 months to 5 1/2 years. Our facility is 5000 square feet, designed specifically for daycare operations. We are wheelchair accessible. We also have a sunroom/sundeck and gym facility to enhance gross motor play, and for those days when we cannot play outside.

Conveniently located in the SW community of Bridlewood, our centre serves the Bridlewood & surrounding commuities. We are located across from the Monsignor JJ O’Brien School for the children attending kindergatern.

Meals: We serve breakfast/lunch and snacks which are prepared on site. We have a fully operational kitchen and trained staff that follow the Canada Food Guide. Parents are encouraged to share recipes and suggestions with our staff in order to offer a variety of foods for the children.

Outside Play Space: We have 2 large side yards with age appropriate equipment that both enhances and encourages gross motor play, as well as a Sand Play Area. Our older children visit community parks and green spaces.

Play & the Weather: The children will spend anywhere from 20 minutes – 1 plus hours outside twice a day weather permitting.

Security: Families will be given a passcode to access the daycare. Rooms have observation windows so parents can peek in and watch their child at play.

Spring/Summer/Fall: Adding to our planning, we include Bouncers & Water Play.

Winter: Temperature – 10C & colder, the children will also have use of the Sunroom/Gym for physical fitness, and exercise play.

6:45am -5:45pm

Reza) and his wife Forouz are extremely proud to be the new owners of such a high quality care facility.

Forouz has many years of experience in the field of Children Education and his dream was to own a daycare. That dream has come true. We want all of our families to know that the Bridlewood Children’s Centre will continue to be a high quality care facility.

The Bridlewood Children’s Centre opened in September 1999 and has watched the community and surrounding communities grow to be wonderful areas and neighborhoods.

We proudly have a diverse and culturally diverse Centre. We will continue to strive to learn new traditions and incorporate them into our program planning, meals and snacks.

Our staffs are there for you and will help in any way that they can. Please feel free to talk with them at any time.

Meet the Director:

Stacey Mitchell

Stacey has been with the Bridlewood Children’s Centre for 17 years. She loves working with the children and broadening their horizons’. She attended Mount Royal University, and to further her education and knowledge, she attends workshops and courses to keep up to date with all the best practices. She also an avid animal lover and enjoys the great outdoors.
